Robert George “Bob, Bob-Bob” Wippert
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert George “Bob, Bob-Bob” Wippert, who left us peacefully on June 30, 2026, at the age of 72. As a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend, he touched the lives of countless people who were lucky enough to have known him. Bob was a gentle and loving soul who cared deeply for his friends and family and walked through life with a quiet faith in God. He loved when all the family came up on holiday weekends and hung out at the campfire.
Born on September 17, 1953 to George and Joanne (Losse) Wippert in Menomonee Falls, WI, Bob built a career as a machinist maintenance technician. He retired from Bradley in Menomonee Falls as a CNC machinist, where he spent many years honing his craft before retiring to Chute Pond. It was there, surrounded by the great outdoors he loved so much, that Bob found some of his greatest joy spending his days hunting, fishing, and soaking in the peace of nature alongside his close friends.
On September 17, 2023, Bob was married to Joan (Feck Roach), the love of his life. Bob and Joan loved spending time on Anderson Lake and traveling to visit friends and family. Bob loved sports and was a devoted Green Bay Packers fan, enjoying many Sundays watching the game with family and friends. He loved playing cards with friends and rarely missed a chance to support local organizations by attending meat raffles around the area. In retirement, he also found joy in pouring concrete alongside a few very close friends.
Bob is survived by his wife, Joan Wippert; his son, Todd Wippert; his daughter, Kelly Wippert; step-children, Bill (Nicole) Feck, Dan (Jessica) Feck, Cody Feck, and Chelsea Feck; grandchildren, Aryanah Wippert-Derusha, Lafayette Ragsdale, Noah Feck, Landon Feck, Jake Feck, Maggie Feck, and Gabe Feck; brother, Daniel (Deb) Wippert; sister, Linda (Floyd) Jerred. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, his second family at Skinny Dave’s, and dear friends, whose lives were made richer for having known him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Joanne; sister, Susie Orlebeke; niece, Leeann (LaGosh) Busse.
Bob will be remembered by all who knew him as a gentle, loving man with a big heart, a love of the outdoors, and an unwavering devotion to his family, his friends, and his faith. He will be deeply missed.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at The Salty Anchor (12058 WI-32, Suring, WI 54174) from 1 pm to 5 pm. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences can be expressed at www.gruetzmacherfuneralhome.com.
