Marjorie A. Yonker

Marjorie A. Yonker, age 86 of Cecil, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026. Marge was born on October 20, 1939 to the late Leonard and Mildred (Kallies) Bonnin in Shawano. She graduated from Pulaski High School. Marge married Donald Yonker and the couple raised their son, Terry. They started their trucking company in the 1970’s and team drove across the country. The couple lived in Green Bay for many years before moving to Cecil, and eventually divorced. In her younger years, Marge greatly enjoyed riding her Harley and would drive from Green Bay to the Shawano races every weekend. She worked for various area businesses until her retirement. Marge also loved gardening, flowers, and feeding the birds.
Marge is survived by her son, Terry (Julie) Yonker; grandchildren, Joshua (Marie), Jacob, and Taylor (Nathan Van Ark); two great-grandchildren, Callen and Elodi; sister, Betty (Charlie) Hoeffs; sister-in-law, Shirley Calcote. She is further survived by a niece, nephew, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by former husband, Donald Yonker; brother-in-law, Jerry Calcote.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 1, 2026 at Bethel Lutheran Church from 9:30 am until the funeral service at 11 am with Pastor Keith Sorlie officiating. Marge will be interred at Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences can be expressed at www.gruetzmacherfuneralhome.com.
