Betty Lou Tomasich

Betty Lou Tomasich, 84, of Shawano, passed away on June 29, 2026, in Shawano. Betty was born February 18, 1942, in Clintonville to the late Eldor and Lydia (Pieper) Noak. She attended St. Martin’s School through 8th grade and went on to Clintonville High School. She was united in marriage to John Tomasich in 2004. He preceded her in death in 2013. She was a member of Peace United Church of Christ in Shawano. She worked in food service. Betty enjoyed spending winters in Florida.
Betty is survived by her children, Victoria Heath, Robin Kugel and friend Bob Schmidt, Brenda (Gary) Komp, Bette Jo Gast, Kim Gast, Pam (Jason) Neumann, and Michan Gast; 24 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Eldor and Lydia Noak; son, Derald Gast II; one grandson; siblings, Eldor Jr., Elaine, Donna, and Orville; former husband, Derald Gast; and husbands, Bruce Meyers and John Tomasich.
A funeral service will be held Monday, July 6, 2026, at 11:00 am at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Rev. Gail Irwin officiating. Visitation will be held at 9:30 am until the time of service.
