Diana Lee Radtke

Diana Lee Radtke, age 77, of Zachow, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026. She was born on August 6, 1948, to the late Richard and Alice (Sauer) Mayefske in Panama. Diana graduated from Bonduel High School and went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree from UW-Madison in physical therapy. On February 4, 1971, she was united in marriage to Terry Radtke in Anamosa, IA. Diana worked as a physical therapist all her life through Cesa 8 and through various school districts which included Green Bay, Gillett, Oconto Falls, Bonduel, and numerous others. She possessed a kind and gentle heart especially for the children she worked with who had disabilities. She had a deep passion for her career for over 40 years. Diana was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Zachow all her life. When she wasn’t busy working and raising her children, you could always find her tending to her vegetable garden and visiting with loved ones. Diana loved to travel and spend time with her family. Whether it was traveling to Europe with her kids and grandkids, or visiting at the cabin at Crooked Lake near Mountain, WI, her family was her world. She was an avid Brewers, Packers, and Badgers fan. Those who remember Diana knew her as being a patient, kind, sensitive, loving, and caring woman and she will be deeply missed.
Diana is survived by: her husband of 55 years, Terry; her children, Suzie (Bill) Wons, Tom Radtke, Mike (Carolyn) Radtke and Rian (Emma) Radtke; her grandchildren, Leah (Dale), Garrett, Sophia, Ava and Ruthie; her siblings, Steve Mayefske, Tina (Gary) Huck, Pam (Jeff) Dercks, David (Jeanne) Mayefske, Jim (Lori) Mayefske and Becky (Darren) Wheelock; her brother-in-law, Don (Ruby) Tincher. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding Diana in death are her parents, Richard and Alice, and her sister, Sandra Tincher.
A funeral service for Diana will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Zion Lutheran Church in Zachow with Rev. Richard Buhrke officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 am until the time of the service. Swedberg Funreal Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
