Tina M. Arneson

December 20, 1956 –April 21, 2026
Aurora, Colorado

Tina Marie (Nordwig) Arneson passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday evening, April 21, 2026, in Aurora, Colorado, at the age of 69.
Originally from Clintonville, Tina was born on December 20, 1956, to the late Marvin and Marcella (Asenbrenner) Nordwig. She graduated from Clintonville High School in 1975 and went on to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison before marrying and becoming the proud mother of three daughters, who were always at the center of her world.
Tina worked in a variety of customer service roles throughout her life: from retail and veterinary care to positions in the promotional and travel industries. No matter the role, she had a natural gift for connecting with people and making them feel welcome. She was, above all, a mother and a friend first.
She married Harry Thibedeau on July 7, 2007, and together they shared a love of travel, especially their many trips to Alaska. They relocated to the Denver, Colorado area in early 2012 for Harry’s work. Tina embraced life in Colorado, enjoying the sunshine, scenic road trips, and the beauty of nature and wildlife. She also found joy in biking, swimming, baking, shopping, reading, and, most of all, spending time with her family and grandchildren. A particular passion of hers was genealogy research – she had a deep curiosity of her ancestors and dedicated herself to tracing lineages and preserving family history for future generations.
Tina was funny, nurturing, kind, and endlessly caring. She encouraged her daughters to live life fully, often gifting experiences and inspiring them to take chances and follow their dreams. She had a remarkable way of seeing the very best in everyone, and because of her, those around her felt truly known, supported, and deeply loved. Though she will be profoundly missed, her legacy lives on in the love she gave so freely.
She is lovingly survived by her daughters, Jessica (Patrick) Markham, Holly (Jared) Brandenberger, and Tracy Arneson-Baker (Dustin Baker); their father, William K. Arneson; her six grandchildren, Reagan, William, Hazel, Theodore, Olive, and Colton, who brought her so much joy and held a special place in her heart; her siblings, Jacquelyn (John) Fandrey, Todd (Jacqueline) Nordwig, Timothy (Margaret) Nordwig, and Thomas Nordwig; eight nieces and nephews and their families; and her dear partner, David Spindler. She is also survived by David’s daughter, Rachel (Sebastian) Spindler, and his grandchildren, Liam and Sylas, whom she adored.
She was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Harry Thibedeau, and her parents, Marvin and Marcella Nordwig.
A celebration of life will be held in Tina’s honor on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at The Lodge at Leathem Smith located at 1640 Memorial Drive, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund benefiting her grandchildren will be established by her family.
