Deloris E. Seefeldt

Deloris E. Seefeldt, 93 of Tigerton, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026, at Marshfield Medical Center, Weston.
Deloris Eleanor Seefeldt was born on June 4, 1932, in the Town of Little Wolf, Waupaca County, to William and Alice (Polley) Flater.
Deloris was united in marriage on June 13, 1953 to Howard C. Seefeldt at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Manawa. The couple dairy farmed in the Town of Wyoming and the Town of Fairbanks for most of their lives. Deloris loved farming, especially feeding and caring for the calves. In 1996 they sold the farm to their oldest son.
Deloris was a longtime member of Peace Lutheran Church, Split Rock, where she was a member of the Ladies Aid. In her early years, she enjoyed snowmobiling. She loved baking, canning, picking berries and gardening. Other favorite pastimes included mowing the lawn, spending time outdoors, going for drives through the countryside, visiting family members and watching the birds. Deloris will be remembered most as a loving mother and a proud grandmother.
Survivors include five children, Douglas (Karin) Seefeldt of Tigerton, Debra Seefeldt of Weston, Dawn Kersten of Tigerton, Delbert Seefeldt of Tigerton and Darold (Julie) Seefeldt of Bear Creek; daughter-in-law, Theresa Seefeldt of Clintonville; seven grandchildren, Wyatt, Paul (Tracy), Joshua, Ashley, Nicole (fiance’, Austin), Matthew and Jesse and five great-grandchildren, Hailey, Rylee, Abigail, Preston and Lydia. She is further survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Deloris was preceded in death by her husband, Howard; parents; son, Daniel; son-in-law, Dennis Kersten; grandson, Justin; brother, Edwin (Kathy) Flater; sisters, Margaret (Robert) Bailey and Ardella (Arthur) Pethke; sister-in-law, Gladys (Edward) Prahl and three brothers-in-law, Harold (Evelyn), Harvey (Rosalie) and Lester (Marie) Seefeldt.
A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Friday, June 5, 2026, at Peace Lutheran Church, Split Rock. Rev. Ryan Halmstad will officiate and burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, from 9AM until the time of service at the church.
