Merry J. Korth

Merry J. Korth, age 70 of the Town of Matteson, Waupaca County passed away Saturday, August 8, 2026 at The Pines in Embarrass.
Merry was born with her twin brother Mike on December 29, 1955 in Clintonville. She graduated with the Clintonville High School Class of 1974 and began working as a CNA at Pine Manor Health Care Center now known as The Pines. Merry was united in marriage to Karson Korth on September 2, 1977 at the St. Martin Lutheran Church in Clintonville where she was a current member. Merry worked for a number of places throughout her life including Tiny Truckers, Wait Auto Sales, and at the Affinity Clinic in both New London and Clintonville. Her greatest joy was family and she was born to be a mom. In fact, she loved babies so much she was affectionately referred to as a “baby hog” because she always had to be the one holding a new baby. She really enjoyed doing things around her home; especially taking care of her flower gardens. Merry was often found working on cross stitch, crocheting, reading, or just hanging out with her family. She found peace in the outdoors and spent many hours fishing or just watching the river pass by in her backyard. Merry bravely battled Alzheimer’s Disease the past number of years and through it all she kept a positive attitude and was a great example for her family.
