Audrey J. Fisken

Audrey J. Fisken, age 80, of Shawano, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at ThedaCare in Appleton.
Audrey was born August 27, 1946, in Shawano, a daughter of the late Donald and Florence (Grosskopf) Stueck. She grew up on the family farm in Gresham, where her love for animals began. Audrey attended grade school at Texas School in the Town of Richmond and went on to graduate from Gresham High School with the Class of 1964.
Following high school, Audrey moved to the Two Rivers area, where she lived and worked for a few years before moving to Shawano. She worked as a CNA for many years before deciding to further her education at NWTC, where she earned her LPN. Her dedication and willingness to help those in need led her to a successful career in healthcare. Audrey spent the majority of her career at Evergreen in Shawano before retiring from Maple Lane.
In 1970, Audrey was united in marriage to John Fisken in Shawano. Together, they were blessed with a son, Jim. The couple later divorced. John preceded her in death on November 16, 2021.
Audrey loved thrifting, reading, working outside, and going out to dinner at The Woodland in Gresham. She always had a special place in her heart for animals, and throughout her life, she was never without a faithful companion by her side. Above all, she cherished the time she got to spend with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was a good and faithful member of St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano.
Survivors include her son, Jim (Amy) Fisken of Shawano; grandchildren, Brandi (Riley) Acra of Shawano and Josh (Gracie) Fisken of Shawano; and her faithful companion, Rocky. She is further survived by an aunt, numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends. Audrey was preceded in death by her brother, Travis Stueck and special friend, Don.
