Monika (Lowas) Hatton

Monika (Lowas) Hatton, 72, Gillett, passed away early Wednesday morning, September 9, surrounded by family.
She was born in Austria on April 14, 1954, and moved to northern California as a child with her family. Monika graduated from Willows High School in 1972. She worked at the Bureau of Land Management and in the U.S. Forestry Service.
Monika married Marty Hatton in 1981 and they moved to rural Gillett in 1986. She trained as a paralegal and worked for local attorneys. Later she worked in patient accounts for area hospitals.
At Monika’s request there will be no funeral services.
