Brenda L. Courchaine
Brenda L. Courchaine, age 61, of Suring, passed away peacefully with her sister by her side on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Suring Health & Rehab.
Brenda was born December 14, 1964, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Francis and Janet (Brandon) Courchaine. Throughout her life, Brenda lived in several group homes, with her favorite being in Shawano. Along the way, she had the opportunity to meet many new people.
A true music lover, Brenda enjoyed listening to all kinds of music, with country being her favorite. She also loved watching her favorite polka shows on TV. Brenda always looked forward to going on car rides and spending time playing games.
Survivors include her sister, Deb (Kevin Bowman) Courchaine of Suring; niece, Amanda Zippel; nephews, Travis Zippel and Shawn (Larry) Kaczrowski; and great-nephew, Austin Swanson. She is further survived by numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends. Brenda was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Courchaine.
A graveside service for Brenda L. Courchaine will take place on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 10:30 am at the Oconto Catholic Cemetery in Oconto. Dennis Reinhold will officiate.
